About the Place
Located in the heart of Tacoma, Krickett's Bar & Grill offers more than just a meal—it delivers an experience rooted in community, flavor, and lively atmosphere. This local favorite, nestled at 14422 Pacific Ave S, is a true haven for sports fans and food lovers alike. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly staff and a vibrant setting, complete with multiple TVs broadcasting the latest games, dart boards, and pool tables that keep the energy alive.
The menu here balances classic bar fare with thoughtful, well-executed dishes that cater to a diverse crowd. Whether you're craving a perfectly cooked steak, like Nate Johns praised for its flawless preparation, or a hearty Cobb salad as Susan Davidson enjoyed, Krickett's delivers generous portions packed with flavor. I personally found the chicken bacon wrap to be a satisfying choice—comforting yet simple. The attention to detail, from the loaded baked potato sides to fresh ground beef nachos adorned with black olives, showcases their commitment to quality without pretension.
What truly sets Krickett's apart is its atmosphere—a blend of casual comfort and spirited camaraderie. The crowd feels like regulars, sharing in the excitement of sports or joining a friendly game of pool or darts. The bartenders, especially Kylie as Reggie Powell mentioned, provide prompt and personable service that complements the robust drink selection. The lively jukebox adds a nostalgic soundtrack, rounding out the experience.
If you’re seeking a place that offers not only great food but genuine warmth and authenticity, Krickett's Bar & Grill is a spot worth visiting. It’s the perfect setting to unwind after a busy day, catch a game, or gather with friends for hearty fare and refreshing drinks. As Amy Davidson highlights, it’s an ideal quick stop with a welcoming vibe—one that keeps you coming back time and again.
“ Amazing service and atmosphere! I've been going here for years and overtime it's only gotten better! ”
“ First of all, it's a sports bar...I was there with members of a women's softball team, and college basketball and women's fast pitch were on the screens. The crowd was friendly and I read most of them as regulars. Everyone in our group of seven ordered something different. I noticed a cheese steak with a side salad (and a cup of a jus); nachos with ground beef and extra black olives; grilled chicken salad; some kind of pizza-like flatbread with toppings, deep fried potstickers; and a turkey melt with a mountain of tater tots. I got the chef salad with bleu cheese on the side. The grilled chicken looked kinda dry and I didn't hear any raves from the person eating. My chef salad was what you'd expect from a neighborhood bar - iceberg base with a handful of chopped tomatoes, some strips of ham and beef deli meat, couple pieces of actual cheese (more strips), and a sliced hard boiled egg. The star was actually the dressing - the cup was HUGE and the dressing mild but loaded with big chunks of bleu cheese. A bit hard to eat cuz there were big hunks of lettuce and small bits of tomato - but I enjoyed it and finished it off. It wasn't too busy when we were there, but I'd expect to wait a bit for food when there are more people. Altogether, Krickett's seems like a nice place to chill out and not a bad place for some bar food. And the music (mostly vintage R&B) was bangin'! ”
“ First time here at the new Krickett's and will definitely be back. Cobb salad was huge and delicious. Hubby said the chicken bacon wrap was good as well. The wait staff was attentive. The place is clean with plenty of seating and multiple TVs all around. Dart boards and pool tables; there was a pool tourney or league going on when we were there. Can't wait for summer time when the two garage doors will be open on a warm evening! ”
“ Great drinks and atmosphere! There are lots of tables, pool tables, darts, pull tabs and a juke box! ”
“ Great atmosphere and food and drinks on the spot! Bartender waitress Kylie was totally awesome! ”
